Gabriela Medina_Tutorial

For my Tutorial,  I looked through the revolve tool again because I wasn´t very sure about how to use it properly in order to speed up my work. I think it is interesting how you can do a drawing and then revolve it to create a 3D shape. Also, I learned how there are different ways of revolving a 2d dawning to make the most accurate version of it as 3D.

In addition, I explored kinetic modeling (which is basically how to model objects that move). I found a very interesting tutorial exploring different ways of building them, either through female and masculine parts or with an offset of inner space. I share the links below.

KimDeertz_Week9

Ely Gonzalez Week 9 Tutorial

With this tutorial, I learned to add more details to the mesh and edit the weld the vertices of the cube to smooth out the edges.

Ines Alvarez

I watched some tutorials, and this one guided me in designing a simple dress using surface from network of curves.

Osborne_Train Parts

I made the front grill thing, learned the 'cap' command

Osborne_Week 9_Scales Tutorial

Tutorial Link

I followed the instructions and the scales came out upside down. so I have an inside out snake.

I tried using the flip command but it didn't change anything.

I became much better acquainted with several commands including:
Loft
Array
Curve Network
Bend
UV curves

Will Fyfe Week 9 Tutorial

T- Splines are a really cool addition that can be used with Rhino. It's a really good way to get a model made from just an orthographic sketch, as seen in the video here.  Unfortunately this is not on SCAD computers so I wasn't able to try it myself. I have downloaded the trial version of Autodesk Fusion 360 that uses splines to create all of its objects, so check that out if you're interested.

Robbie Weeks: Week 9_Rhino Tutorial

Using the 'Create UV Curves' command to visualize the scale of the original surface. Then, using the 'Flow Along Surface' command, the scales are put on to the desired surface.

Sevgim Akcakil Week 9 Tutorial Bitmap

I learned how to create textures and images to aid the rendering process. So for my assignment I put an eye onto a doll to make it look realistic. (obviously more would have to be done to look complete)

William Foster: Week 9 Tutorial

I watched a tutorial on filleting and chamfering corners.  I knew the basic idea, but would get confused when it did not work for me.  Now I understand the process much better, and I should be able to figure out what I am doing wrong.

MoniqueMensch:week9_rhinotutorial

I learned how to use cage editing without messing it up. I bended things really carefully.
Filleting tutorials

I always had trouble filleting corners of shapes, this is what I did.

I learned about different fillet commands and about variable fillets.

Megan Penn: Tutorial Week 9

I learned how to fillet curves and surfaces to curve a corner of surface using a radius

move, split, merge faces

LivMiller_Custom Tutorial

Learned to start with more simplistic objects and work from there so you start with less vertices. Makes life just a little easier.

Katie Wagner: Week 9 Tutorial

I learned how to use Tsplines to make organic surfaces like this ring.

Bbush_Week9_Custom Tutorial

i learned how to use - explode tree to help access individual points- hurray for me!
